Hello!
And welcome! It's lovely to see you here.
It's very much early days for us here at beth + bee so we thought it'd be a good opportunity to share where we're at and what we have planned for the future on this here website.
Moving our inventory
For those that have already given our "About Us" section a read, you'll know that our other business is Elle Bee Design, and that's where our greeting cards have been displayed (well, hidden really amongst our wedding work) up until now.
It's taken us a good few weeks to get some new images organised and upload all of our existing work to this new website which is always a task that takes longer than you already have planned!
But we're happy to say that we've stocked our virtual shelves with our inventory and, touch wood, the website is ready to take your orders.
Because our greeting cards took a back seat to our wedding work with Elle Bee Design, we know we've got some work to do to provide a bigger collection of options, so that is very much our next step...
Expanding
One of the main reasons for creating a new website was to significantly expand the number of cards available and, at time of writing, we're well below where we want to be with some occasions or celebrations not yet catered for.
So our main goal over the coming days, weeks and months will be to massively increase and diversify the range of cards we have available. We already have 100s designed and ready to upload, so that's what we'll be getting on with!
But we also want to do new things, which leads us neatly onto...

Luxury Cards for Milestones
If you've followed our work for long enough then you'll know that our origins are in handmade. Laura is our handmaker and is champing at the bit to get back to making elaborate, delicate cards in keeping with special milestones.
Here's an example of an elaborate die-cut card and whilst the new version(s) won't look exactly the same, the principle will be similar.

Handmade and Seed Paper
In our studio we have two very traditional machines that provide us with some unique options for greeting cards.
These are Florence and Lawrence, our hot foiling and letterpress machines respectively. Both of these beasts can "print" onto recycled handmade paper and seed paper which recipients will be able to plant into the ground to grow.
Sustainability is central to our mission and we can't wait to get these options underway and available.
We're just getting started...
But whilst we get things up to speed we hope you find what you're looking for. If you have any questions, a custom request, or would like to speak to us for any reason then please do contact us.
And remember, if you're local to Stockwood feel free to collect your order from us in-person, we'd love to see you!
